1. PREAMBLE AND APPLICABILITY

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between the examination candidate ("Candidate") and the Governing Board of the Law Abiding Human Resource Practitioner Certification Program ("LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA Board").

1.2 By registering for, sitting, or submitting any assessment under the Law Abiding Human Resource Practitioner (LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA) Certification Examination, the Candidate unconditionally acknowledges, agrees to, and accepts all stipulations, procedures, and rules set forth herein.

2. EXAMINATION STRUCTURE AND ADMINISTRATION

2.1 The Examination is designed to evaluate practical compliance and statutory proficiency under Malaysian labour legislation.

2.2 The structure, question allocation, and total time permitted for the Examination are categorized as follows:

2.3 The Examination shall be conducted under strict invigilation in either a physical examination center or via an authorized secure proctored electronic platform.

3. CERTIFICATION TIERS AND GRADING CRITERIA

3.1 Certification under the LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA framework is awarded based strictly on merit and percentage scores attained during a single examination attempt, within the Silver Tier examination the Candidate has elected to sit.

3.2 The passing thresholds and corresponding star-grade designations for the Silver Tier are structured as follows:

• 3-Star Certification: Requires a minimum aggregate passing score of 75%.
• 4-Star Certification: Requires an advanced aggregate passing score of 90% or higher.

3.3 Candidates achieving a score below 75% shall be deemed non-proficient, and no certification tier shall be awarded.

4. VALIDITY AND EXPIRATION OF CERTIFICATION

4.1 Any certificate issued under the LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA program shall remain valid for a fixed term of 24 calendar months calculated from the official date of issuance.

4.2 Upon the expiry of the 24 month period, the certification shall automatically lapse. The holder shall cease to represent themselves as a certified LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA practitioner unless recertification is obtained in accordance with prevailing Board requirements.

5. ABSOLUTE DISCRETION AND RIGHT OF REVOCATION

5.1 The Board Members of LAHURP STAR MALAYSIA reserve the explicit, absolute, and unreserved right to review, suspend, or revoke any awarded certificate at any point during its term of validity.

5.2 Without prejudice to the generality of Clause 5.1, revocation may be initiated under any of the following circumstances:

• The certified individual is found to have engaged in gross professional misconduct, unethical human resource practices, or deliberate non-compliance with Malaysian labor laws.
• The certification was obtained through fraudulent means, including but not limited to misrepresentation of credentials, cheating, or proxy test-taking.
• The holder is convicted of any criminal offence involving dishonesty, fraud, or moral turpitude by a court of competent jurisdiction within Malaysia.
• The Board Members, acting in good faith and upon due investigation, deem the individual no longer qualified, fit, or proper to hold the designation.

5.3 Decisions rendered by the Board Members regarding certificate revocation shall be final, conclusive, and binding, with no right of further legal appeal.

6. CANDIDATE CONDUCT AND INTEGRITY

6.1 Candidates shall strictly adhere to all examination instructions provided by the invigilators or digital proctoring systems.

6.2 Any attempt to copy, distribute, record, or extract examination questions—whether in whole or in part—is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

7.2 Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Examination shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
